would you hide the one you love
to play the part of the norm
afraid of all eyes on you
then ashamed of what they might do
taunt and teast like a puupet show
they'd laugh and play you for the fool
but its all in your head
stop being scared to be you
hidden inside the make believe
reality is begging to come outside
the true colors will someday arise
and you wont have to scream and shout again
you are alot like all the rest
but afraid to share it all with the world it's true
so continue on with all your lies and cheats
and with that mask that you do wear
one day soon the truth will surface
and thats when the jokes punchline will prevail.
